Selar Tuition Support Project

The Selar Tuition Support Project aims to offer financial aid by subsidizing tuition fees for 50 final-year students in any tertiary institution in Nigeria. 

The Scolarship is directed at empowering final-year students in Nigeria by providing tuition support amounting to N5,000,000 and giving them foundational knowledge about digital products through the Tuition Fund project. 

The project is designed to provide 50 final year students with NGN100,000 each giving them foundational knowledge about digital products.

This is part of the Company's Social Investment Program in Education aimed at reducing the educational problems in Nigeria which includes

• Over 200% staggering increase in school fees across Nigeria, making education inaccessible for many.
• Nigeria faces the highest dropout rate in Africa, largely attributed to economic hardships and escalating tuition fees.
• 80% Most of Nigeria’s unemployed workforce have only completed secondary school or below. 

Objectives of the Project

The primary objectives of the Selar Tuition Support Project are:

• Improve Access to Education: Provide students with free access to quality educational resources and materials, bridging the gap in access to education.
• Support Academic Excellence: Support students in achieving academic excellence by providing them with relevant study materials and resources.
• Reduce Financial Burden: Reduce the financial burden on students and their families by providing free access to educational resources.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this Selar Educational Fund, a student must:

1. Must have a verifiable need for financial or economic help.
2. Must be a student living and studying in Nigeria.
3. Must be a final year student enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution (public, select private, polytechnic).
4. Have a clear statement of purpose.
5. Have a CGPA of 3.0/Cumulative grade of 65% or higher with academic records as an attestation.

• Application for the Selar Tuition Fund is free, therefor bewear of frudstars who may want to defruad you.
• The Fund avalaible to only final year students in any tertiary institution in Nigeria, so other level students dont need to apply. 
• The Selar Scholarship is open to final year students in any Tertiary Institution in Nigeria and not limited to any State or Region.
