The Nigeria Youth Leadership Development Programme (YLDP) is an initiative aimed at developing the leadership skills and capacities of young Nigerians. The program focuses on empowering young people to become effective leaders and change-makers in their communities and the country at large.

The Program is organised by the Nigeria Youth Future Funds, a Non Governmental Organisation operating in Nigeria with the target of enabling young people in Nigeria for outcome-driven policy engagements by mainstreaming their voices into the development of Nigeria’s short, medium and long term Agenda, and into the implementation of the African Union Agenda 2063, Africa-EU Partnership, AfCFTA and the UN SDGs.

Youth Leadership Development Program

The Nigeria Youth Leadership Development Program was designed by LEAP Africa to equip undergraduates in tertiary institutions with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to play active roles in nation-building, community development and policy advocacy.
